After shopping several local stores for her own wedding and several friend’s weddings, Erin Bouchard found a need for a bridal boutique in the London, Chatham Sarnia area that was not cookie cutter. Shopping for her own gown was overwhelming as every store seemed to be the same. She encountered the same dresses, same designs, same lack-luster customer service. It was then she knew that wedding gown shopping did not have to be this way.

She envisioned a store that felt more like home. With bridal gowns that weren’t on the cover of every bridal magazine. She dreamt of brides who became more like family and less like a number.

She pictured gowns in all sizes so every bride felt beautiful and could try gowns on in a variety of sizes and silhouettes. And because of her fun nature, she pictured brides enjoying their bridal appointment and creating memories that would last long after the I Do’s. And thus, Once Upon A Time Weddings was born.

Erin personally travels the world to scour the most fashionable, well-constructed and supportive gowns for her brides. In fact most of the gowns in our store cannot be found at any other bridal boutique in Southwestern Ontario and some in all of Ontario.

Erin says that the most rewarding part of her job is seeing brides gain confidence and feel beautiful when they are in their gowns. There is such a difference a good constructed gown can make and it’s amazing when brides can see this for themselves and know they are making the best decision for their wedding day. If you want to experience the difference at Once Upon A Time Weddings, then what are you waiting for?
